  3. The Joey Cape flier? I'm no expert, but nothing about it comes across as AI slop to me.

No, the irony is not lost on me that I used an AI tool to detect AI

Bands that you've seen numerous times without actively trying to see?

For me, I've seen Four Year Strong 4 times and it's because they've opened for so many shows or festivals I've been to.

It actively looks like AI, which is nuts and makes me want to vomit lol

The Devil Wears Prada between 2007-2009, usually with Underoath.
Whole Wheat Bread - They opened pretty much every Florida date on the punk tours that would come through in 2006-2007

Lucero comes to mind immediately. Saw them 3 times as direct support on various tours.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Probably Full of Hell. Not that I'm complaining. They're just always supporting acts on tours I want to see lol.

Holy shit, I completely forgot about those guys. Saw them on the Reel Big Fish/MxPx/Streetlight Manifesto tour back in 2006.

Dashboard Confessional is my band I've seen most without trying. And they're always opening or co-headlining, so I have no escape. And I love Chris but it's just a lot.

  17. Probably the wrong thread to get into this, but I think it's important that even as AI art gets more prevalent, we don't forget that humans are capable (and have been for many years) of making art in the styles that AI is trained on and ripping off. That's why I'll give the benefit of the doubt unless the AI tells are glaringly obvious, way beyond the general style/vibe (or they just come out and say they used AI like the Hundredth stuff).

  18. I'd have to do a deeper dive on my spreadsheet, but I think The Story So Far is the band I've seen most without trying. 6 times, only once on purpose.

John // OC now, OH forever.

There was a stretch from 2004-2006 where it seemed Gym Class Heroes were on every scene-adjacent show in Cleveland. I’ve probably seen them a half dozen times without them being the headliner.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Yeah I definitely thought it was AI since I’ve been seeing tons of AI memes that are drawn in that exact style. The only thing that made me realize it came from an actual artist is the “you must be tall to enter Canada” sign. AI could never

I’ve seen Reel Big Fish 7 times. A couple times were intentional, but others were because they were playing Warped or different feats I attended

Because of this, they are the band I’ve seen live the most amount of times

I’ve seen Pinkshift 6 times, twice with both Origami Angel + Gaslight/Joyce Manor, opening for 3 of my favorite bands. I liked them enough but the most recent time at Liberation Weekend was absurd and convinced me to go a 7th time on their fall headliner.

Going to see Vein open for them 2018?
    Opening for Blink-182

I saw Our Last Night a few times during their first album run because I lived in NH/MA at the time

played with Life In Your Way/Oh Sleeper
Played the Life In Your Way “last show”
Opened for The Chariot and Alesana
