With MA-based bands, I think Halloween is just a convenient holiday to tie things to (and in the pop-punk space there's a gap in "annual" shows). As opposed to the week of Thanksgiving or sometime in the summer you've still got all the college kids around. Think that's probably a pretty big part of it too.
I was quoting this song but fair points! Driveways is a top five favorite band from me and I’ll have to miss this show unfortunately but the Halloween show makes complete sense to do especially for them. I remember they were doing an annual Christmas show for a bit too.
That too! The Pomona show was totally worth the drive, but had I known this Anaheim show was happening, I would’ve waited…
I did Troubadour when they were there and was super tempted to do Glass House with Apperson, but HOB is about 6 minutes from me so I have no excuse.
