As someone who admittedly isn’t super into Turnstile, this is actually a fun and exciting prospect. This shit’s gonna be historical

Some shows have no barrier there so I’d be more than ok with it being there

I find it funny that they marked “No Fear Factory” for Aftershock, because they are playing the festival but on a different day (10/3).

I get why, but it’s still amusing.

I’ve also gotten like 12 hours of sleep in the last three days, so a lot of things are probably funnier than they should be.

Need those Turnstile dates. Can't think of a good GA spot in Boston for them since they already played the Roadrunner 3 years ago and def outgrew it. Dont really wanna go to Worcester but I'll do it for these guys. Outdoor show would be sick.

I could see Turnstile play Ally Pally in London seem it's a 10,000 capacity all standing venue

I don't really know shit about this band but selling tickets for $10 and being transparent about everything is really cool.

Some of the show sales for Oso Oso are uhh…pretty bad but I think it’s cool that he posted that. Out of all the acts that have toured post Covid I feel like Oso Oso has toured the most, they’ve hit the major cities/markets a bunch of times, so maybe in the markets not doing as well people feel like they’ve either seen him enough in the past few years or will have ample opportunities to see him in the future.

I’ve seen Oso Oso 5 times since Covid (after seeing them once in 2019), and two of those were openers (Menzingers, Gaslight), one co-headline with SLS, and two headliners. They’ve played such a range of shows, and these $10 ones were meant to be more intimate than their typical spots.

Not really worth commenting on strategy/popularity, but reminds me of Terror but for emo, almost. Jade seems to get along with folks all over and is willing to play whenever he wants to, whether it’s to make new fans as an opener or stay connected with someone like me who would see them any time they’re in town.

This would make a lot of sense. I’m still hoping Basement is somehow a part of the package.

I don't think they are, but could be wrong, it seems direct support varies across the tour

Are we going to be having "can Turnstile fill these venues" conversations tomorrow?

There's no real outdoor GA venues in Boston proper. The Stage at Suffolk Downs could be a nice fit that's pretty close... And that would be the best outcome for me, I think. Haha. But I'm expecting Worcester unfortunately.
