Oddly enough it was a relatively easy ticket buying experience for me. It helps if you already have an account so you have to input less information, but I know it was still difficult for a lot of people. I remember someone offered me over $400 for my Lincoln Hall ticket for the Sunday show I had a ticket to which I thought was crazy at the time (and still do). That being said…a bigger venue would be nice this time.
That show was my kryptonite. First time I was never able to snag a ticket. I remember Nate making a post about how they didn’t expect this turnout and they’ll do better next time to make sure people can get in. So hopefully between that and the Covid bump they got bigger venues lined up.
kind of why I’ve checked out on it, they seem to be going through the motions and cashing the checks. nothing about the live shows seem that exciting, especially now that we’re on the album play through portion of the 3 year tour cycle.
I still have extra copies of the Live At The Mayan vinyl that came with a ticket since that was the easier way to get Format tickets and those shows never even happened. Still salty about it.
Ya know what, this venue did just book a trivium show at a 3500 convention center as like a “brought to you” so maybe it’s the same deal
Has to be Spiritbox. They have the Jimmy Kimmel performance tonight so a tour announcement tomorrow would make sense.
Hoping Christian is all good. Wondering what Aaron plans on doing with The Almost tour dates, then. I am cursed when it comes to trying to see them live. The first time I missed them due to being out of town. And now this is the third time the show has been canceled for me.
Toyota Arena just shared this too, which is 11k cap. Weird range of venues. Idk if this is Spiritbox. All I was told is second leg of Tsunami Sea in the fall and when I asked about any socal, I was told there's a date few hours away (from LA). Ontario is roughly about an hour
A random on Twitter said it’s a Knocked Loose & Spiritbox co-headliner. I highly doubt it but stranger things have happened
Greensboro Coliseum shared the teaser as well. I could definitely see a show at the Special Events center on the same property given it’s a 5k standing room.
I know it’s been over a month since it’s been announced, but I realized today that Mannequin Pussy playing that Turnstile tour meant that they dropped off Ohana Fest. Didn’t catch it since there wasn’t an announcement from the fest or anything My wife pointed this out today and she’s super bummed. She was really looking forward to seeing them (and I was too)
