it's refreshing that he was transparent with the reasoning behind cancelling. 1 concert ticket is essentially the price of 2 these days, yet we aren't getting paid more, and that's a huge bummer for us concert goers that want to support all the touring/local live music we can. i'd go to a couple shows a week if i could. i used to. but now i need to really sit and think hard about which ones i can afford to go to, and sometimes that's only a couple a month.
At the new Milwaukee livenation venue Landmark Credit Union Live for the first time and holy shit, it’s the worst way I’ve ever seen GA handled. There’s a recessed pit, but they require wristbands despite it all being GA. Even if people leave, no one else gets in. It the dumbest, most illogical thing I’ve ever seen at a venue.
That’s how it is at the Wiltern in LA. But as an old head I don’t mind standing at the front of the “first level” instead of on the floor.
Saw Paleface open for Lorna Shore last night. During their set they said they would be back in the US next year, and he said “i think we are playing stadiums” I don’t know too many people they could open for that are playing venues that big? He means arenas right?
It could be possible that it's a co-headliner between bands to push into stadiums (off the top of my head something like Korn/Deftones, Bad Omens/Sleep Token, etc).
who is this hinting towards? no one in the comment section has come to a consensus, everythign from ed sheeran to knocked loose to, christopher cross, haha
I’m still gonna go with that he didn’t quite get what he said and it’s arenas, I could see like something like a summer sanitarium type things with four or five arena acts with a few openers.
It’s the Daily Mail so massive grain of salt as usual, but these tabloid-esque publications do get things right every so often. They are saying that Taylor Swift is “almost nailed on” to headline Glastonbury next year. https://www.dailymail.com/tvshowbiz...adline-Glastonbury-Festival-returns-year.html
I mean I hate to say it but the best show I think that’s happened in my lifetime is the Yeezus tour in 2013. Absolutely game changing production and merch. Completely redefined the concert experience. And not to mention, Kendrick Lamar opened.
Even if they aren’t playing it in full, getting a handful of deep cuts from that album will be fantastic.
Can't decide if announcing a tour on a random Sunday night is either a total power move or really dumb and odd.
