I already saw them last month, I don't care that they're skipping my city this time. A b-market tour is cool and awesome, not a problem. I do care however that they put the words "Minneapolis" in big font in a teaser, so I text all my friends about it to start speculating about what'a going on, only to get the rug pulled out from under me and look like a big idiot.
"Hey, turns out they're not playing Minneapolis." – easy way to resolve the issue. The sun rises tomorrow.
I thought it was pretty clear which venues they were playing just by the venues that posted the teaser. Anaheim ain't teasing a show in San Diego.
Love The Maine, hate the way they promoted this tour. Montclair, NJ is almost a two hour drive from Stamford, I wouldn't promote the show as being in "the area."
my gripe is more the fact anaheim doesn't fit that concept they're selling us on at all so it makes the whole thing seem like bad marketing on top of the confusion their teaser caused
Handguns is playing a reunion show. But not that other handguns it's the one from just before the other handgun kicked out these handguns to make the other handguns
lol One of the most forgettable bands of that era that is somehow kicking in multiple forms. I’m sure dozens of people will care.
The guitarist Brandon from that era was so nice to me on warped tour back in the day. Used to get me food and water from catering when I had to stay the merch table all day.
Yeah I was at the Daytona Tortugas game down the road and we all got drenched. Gotta love Florida summers.
Anyone here any murmers on what The Acacia Strain or Counterparts are doing in the fall around Aftershock?
the more interesting parts from the tour with Yellowcard that I can remember. he wanted to apologize to all the fans, they were supposed to have a new album out, but he spent the advance and he didn’t write shit so this tour turned into a greatest hits tour talking about how never had any desire to be a rock star or in a band. He always imagined himself as a coffee shop singer songwriter playing to ten people talked about a song being about Vanessa Carlton, and how much he fucked that up. but all in much longer and great detail. Next to Hawthorne heights and poison, probably the most talking vs playing songs time wise I’ve ever seen. But the band sounded great.
The last time I saw 3EB in ‘15 with Dashboard he spent the entire first song of the set crouching down hiding behind the drummer. It was weird
The only time I saw them was 2016 at the Ventura County Fair. I thought they sounded pretty good but the one weird thing I remember was Stephen bragging about the set they were gonna play the next day at Outside Lands. He went on about how they were playing with an orchestra and how our show was practically a “basement show” compared to that
I'm planning on having a weird night in Pittsburgh at the end of June where I'm trying to catch a free Nelly/Third Eye Blind show, then take a 10 minute walk across a bridge to a venue where ICP is playing
I am a fairweather fan and saw them in the UK back in 2019 and barely listened to them since as I had this vague memory of a weird vibe from the gig and I do wonder if it was his chat. Only bit I can remember is him 'joking' about the venue being downgraded.
