a festival here that is popular for the college kids just announced the headliner for the fall rotation is going to be the chainsmokers Fresno out here getting acts popular like 10 years ago
Anyone know anything about the DGD tour this fall? Heard someone said Chiodos was gonna be with them???
Just look at this lineup and then LOOK at the ticket prices. 2025 could never… Tours: New Found Glory/Something Corporate/Finch/Further Seems Forever tour
The comments: "i was all about seeing that show for further seems forever and leaving after them, but damn... $17. even fsf isnt worth that."
I still have my stub for that. Couple others from around then too. NFG/SoCo/Finch/Further was $15.50 Yellowcard/Plain White T’s/Don’t Look Down/Maxeen was $10 (a couple shows after this, Fall Out Boy joined the tour) Finch/The Used/Movielife/My Chemical Romance was $12 I paid a couple of bucks in fees on YC and Finch, but you could go to the venue and they’d charge you a dollar for printing tickets no matter how many you bought. EDIT: I totally forgot: that Finch show was free if you went to The Exchange (used CD store in NE Ohio) and bought What It Is To Burn. You also got a free t-shirt; I distinctly remember buying a ticket, finding out about the promo, and going to buy the CD for an extra ticket that I gave to a friend of mine.
The night after that Yellowcard Cleveland show, they played the Gravity Games in Cleveland for free with Jane’s Addiction. Simple Plan played the night after that. We also had all of the MTV Rock Hall shows for $10 each, I went to a ton of those.
Ava Max’s entire tour was canceled but it’s not surprising when you see that a lot of the dates looked like this
NH is the best. Can see it not being great for shows depending on where you are but takes me an hour or so to get to shows in Boston from where I am.
I was in Claremont which is like 3 hours from Boston and 2 and a half from southern NH where there were some shows. Survived on pre-YouTube sites that filmed shows until I got to college and could go to shows, which I did constantly haha
I'm moving to Portland, Maine from Ireland sometime in the next 6 to 12 months. I absolutely love Maine, but I’ve noticed it doesn’t get a lot of the bands I’m into. That said, Boston is only about a 90-minute drive, so it’s not the end of the world. It’s actually pretty similar to what I do here in Ireland—most bands play Dublin, and I’m based in Belfast, which is also about 90 minutes away. So yeah, not much of a change really
