That's exactly how I feel. People give me weird looks when I tell them I'm going to Gov Ball but the three day pass has the equivalent value of nosebleeds for Lorde, Stray Kids and A$AP Rocky alone.

This. A 4-day weekend pass for Aftershock is cheaper than non-nosebleed tickets to one My Chemical Romance show.

 

I just posted this in the Riot Fest thread, but I am genuinely blown away by the fact that Haley solo can so amphitheaters now. Makes me wonder what Paramore’s pull will be when they tour again

 

part of me wonders if people don’t know that she’s only playing her solo stuff

 

i have gone to only a couple of tours paying full price for tickets the past year. i have been relying heavily on the ticketmaster and axs sales to buy tickets, whether it’s the $30 summer deal, the valentines deal, etc… i just wait for those most of the time. i am missing the Bilmuri show tomorrow because tickets sold out and i AM a bit disappointed, but at least with the majority of shows i actually want to attend- they’ve all landed on deals for the most part.

obviously if sabrina carpenter came around i would make an exception, but this kinda does feel like how i want to approach most tours for the foreseeable future. if it doesn’t land on a deal, odds are i don’t really need to see the tour lol.

 

It also doesn’t help that post Malone has been touring every year it feels like

yeah my partners friend invited her to Hayley a couple weeks ago and was surprised there was no paramore. they still had fun though

 

you say that as if paramore's last US headline tour wasn't arenas

 

yeah give it another 5-7 years and Paramore is a stadium band for sure

 

But that’s what I mean. Last time Paramore toured it was arenas and amps and now Haley is able to pull those venues solos. I’m just wondering is Paramore will be able to pull even larger than that next tour

I’d be surprised if there is another Paramore tour TBH, her solo album that she’s touring on is mostly about Taylor York and her breaking up. She’s been quoted as saying he was one of the only reasons they didn’t end the band.

 

Why are people surprised she's not playing Paramore songs? She specifically said she wasn't going to lol

The $30 LiveNation thing is cool, got a PTW/Converge ticket that was originally like 55 bucks. Weird timing when they're finally getting hands slapped legally.

 

I’m annoyed because my date is listed as one of the shows participating in that deal, but when I try to purchase one, the $30 ticket option isn’t listed. I even went the moment they were on sale too

 

I waited to pull the trigger on Yellowcard and NFG for me and my kids and luckily $75 pit seats in Houston were included in the deal, so I got 3 for $90. It wasn't available as an option the first day the sale started, so you may wanna check again?
