damn i'd much rather go to this than long beach warped tour lol i got a VIP ticket for it and i could care less about the lineup & this is the same night as day 1.
I'm tempted to snag a ticket to this and see how the lineup shakes out for Saturday. I'm also VIP and could reasonably do both depending on when this starts. There is another show the same day at Garden Amp (Koffin Kats are playing the Locker Room indoors that day).
Chicago peeps: On Friday it looks like Mest is announcing a show at 115 Bourbon. Hoping for original lineup.
According to a recent email from Oneder Effects about a new signature Swellers pedal... "Nick was (is?) in a band called the Swellers." So. That's another pile of evidence to the pile for a Swellers reunion sometime in the (hopefully near?) future!
Shout to trump for not letting us see any foreign bands in the US. It’s very cool and patriotic. (sarcasm to the highest degree)
I mean with them it’s always been free speech but only how we see it, say it, I’m over all of this shit
Anecdotal but post-pandemic I've noticed that ticket prices for UK/Europe acts are like 5-10% higher than domestic acts. Gotta imagine that'll get worse over these next four years and any band trying to come and play 300-500 capacity clubs is probably doomed to lose money.
The "big" Gojira announcement: But there's probably gotta be something in the fall since they're over here for Aftershock.
