    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Armor for Sleep x Spanish Love Songs x Flycatcher dates popping up

  3. Need this to run through Riot Fest or at least hit Chicago on a day I can go. Missed the last SLS tour and still haven't been able to catch AFS at all.

The date I found is actually for June which I found surprising?

    Joliet is close enough

  7. On a date that I'm already going to another (not announced yet) show though. Ah well, next time.

Armor For Sleep and Spanish Love Songs is one of those perfect pairings that I never would have come up with on my own. Wish that tour were coming to MA.

Def sucks for that region, but I’m fairly certain they’re on a big metal tour later this fall around LTL and Aftershock.

Speaking of the black dahlia tour, went last night. Pretty great turnout, I would say 65% of the folks left after acacia strain, and half of the remaining crowd left within the first half of BDM

The tour came here the same night as TWY so I didn't go, but this would have also been my plan, tbh. LOVE that new TAS record.

I'm thinking probably them with After The Burial. Even though that's already been a tour package before (and I'd much rather see Counterparts with TAS). But it just makes sense since they're together on same stage same day at both festivals.

  21. Yup I also left after TAS. Was weighing whether to give Black Dahlia a shot but felt old and tired so just left. Felt good to get home from a show at 930

yeah the same thing happened in Pittsburgh, but while I primarily went for the acacia strain, I enjoy black dahlia murder but a 22-song set was just too much of them — I left after a little over an hour — pretty sure they did 920-11.

would’ve preferred if both acacia strain and TBDM did 50-60 each instead of 40 for TAS and 100 for TDBM

yea you are right corpse pile played for 25, disembodied tyrant did 30 Acacia played 40, and TBDM was hour and 35 mins. I was impressed by the set changes. Inbetween every set was ten mins and between acacia and black dahlia it was only 15 mins

I didn't see them on this tour, but Black Dahlia were incredible opening for Lorna Shore recently. I'm not well versed on their catalogue but they ruled live and it got me going back and listening to them more.

However, the Acacia strain are also great, so I'm sure you got your moneys worth.

I very much sigh when I realize the headliner won't be starting till past 930. I still think a 9-1015/1030 is the sweet spot, especially for a weeknight show.
