This makes me wonder how tours decide to play multiple nights in small rooms/underplay demand versus play a bigger room. TSSF/Neck Deep and PUP/Jeff Rosenstock are playing the 6k room in DC this fall, and I feel like this Hot Mully tour could have also done that room, maybe even sold it out. Might have been some attachment to 9:30 Club specifically, but interesting strategy question
Failure tour happening in the winter, according to some people that attended the premiere of their documentary on Thursday night
Just noticed in a recent interview that Cosmic Joke have an east coast run planned for later this summer. REALLY hope it doesn’t land while I’m out of town because fuck, I want to see them so bad.

There is a story making the rounds that will probably go public soon, they were gonna revive Ozzfest two years ago, with a structure of a legacy headliner, with four or five main stage bands and eight second stage acts. They got to contract negotiations for the licensing, apparently Sharon Osbourne was such a nightmare, they wanted an astronomical amount of money for promotion, some lineup announcements, and some videos made to be played during the shows, and she wanted input on the acts on the tour, that the organizers just walked away.
