Pup show at the Glasshouse in Pomona just popped up. Not sure if it’s part of a full tour or just a one-off
PUP Official Website Looks like a show on the 1st in LA and then that one on the 2nd on the way to Mexico
jfc my May is already looking to be fucking insane. I’m gonna have a show every weekend at this rate LOL
He literally has fresh Ig stories up and the new podcast episode dropped today. The suddenness is shocking.
Great tour but it's the same night as Guster in Chicago. First time I'll be missing Future Teens here in a very long time.
Just looked at the Muse listings for Jones Beach, PNC, and Camden. Other than the very front sections, they are not selling at all. The pricing is crazy.
It's so weird to me that President is basically diet Sleep Token and they're STILL doing this well. Maybe it's just because I'm not super hot on ST as is so the diet version won't do it for me either. Idk or I've just transformed into the "old man yells at cloud" cliche.
Nah I’m right there with you. They’ve felt very gimmicky since their debut overseas, and I haven’t met anyone in real life that likes them. The tour selling that well (even with the exposure opening for Bad Omens) is surprising to me.
It's fine but I wish Charlie was just doing more Fightstar. Cool for Showing Teeth though, I think she has some promise.
I mean I went into the presale full on expecting to buy tickets, I figured amphitheaters prices like offspring or third eye blind or ADTR prices that were pricey but not crazy. These tickets were priced crazy for this band. Like made no sense. I think a lot of people were turned away, like $70 for lawn $150-$180 for a bad seat, $300 ish for decent seats. That pricing for a mid level shed band was nuts.
I haven't seen muse in forever, but aren't they just known for absolutely top tier production, and stage design etc? I'd hope they priced it accordingly for that, and there's good value baked in. But I'm also not surprised that they're perhaps a bit of a 'has been' band now. I know music is tracked differently as far as charts go, but I'm not aware of any new music or hits they've had.
People seem to love them... I saw them open for bad omens and I thought they were as boring as on the EP... paint by numbers, generic, flat, backing track galore, basic ass metalcore. But people wouldn't stop talking about them after the show and how awesome of an opener they were. I guess Charlie's (lol - we all know that's who it is) can sing live, but something about the music is just fake and bland.
