I know I’m getting older and a lot of the bands I love aren’t as active as they once were but I’m bummed I have no shows to look forward to hoping for some good announcements soon!
Is there a problem with the band/did they do something? Legitimately unaware and asking. I'm not a fan and just shared because I thought people were into them...
Davey Muise was creepy with underage girls (while working as a motivational speaker at high schools). But that was also post the band breaking up as far as I know, and he isn't in this iteration of the band.
32 year old (hopefully non-problematic) white dude in new england who would love to see a Vanna show checking in
I think it’s important to note that none of the current Vanna members were in the band at the end of that iteration. It was why they were Inspirit when the original members got back together cause they didn’t have the rights to Vanna anymore. They got them back last year.
Last year, Hoobastank played the San Mateo County Fair. This year, they’re playing the Alameda County Fair. I’m not mad at it lol.
Damn I've been seeing clips of the Masayoshi Takanaka shows and am feeling some of the worst show fomo of my life tbh. Wish that shit didnt blow up to like $600-700 a ticket. TM can kick rocks.
Does it really matter? its only a problem here in the US. Partially a scalper issue but I'm sure platinum wasnt cheap during the initial sale if it was a thing. There are ways ticket companies can prevent this bs.
All based on what artists allow. Artists can opt out of verified resale, dynamic pricing, etc. They actively don’t because they want their cut.
Ok? Its still dogshit and sucks across the board for fans. Artists can only take advantage because TM gives them the option to do so. And the (preventable) scalper issue is only getting worse. Again, not a problem anywhere else but the US it seems, at least from what I've seen with this specific tour.
Eh I think this is simply a case of an act being booked, blowing up and demand is far outside supply thus driving high resale prices. Not really a conspiracy. Scalping is always going to happen if tickets are priced below demand so I'd rather there be a verified, regulated version of it as opposed to randos trying to sell on the black market.
