Maybe his best yet? Between the Menzingers, Hot Water Music, Laura Stevenson, the Get Up Kids, the Iron Roses, and Larry & his Flask there is a lot to love here! If I hadn't seen Frank like, 25+ times over the last decade I might consider a trek out to Texas for this. But I'm still feeling very burnt out on seeing him live. LOL
I've soured on Frank a lot (musically and personally) over the years, but I would still be tempted by an old songs show with The Menzingers and Hot Water Music if it was close.
Same. Though I honestly think it's more about me and where I'm at in life than his actual output. A friend of mine that I've been trying to find an excuse to travel with for a show/festival for a while now reached out about this and I was like: "I'm burnt out on the dude so no." He also did "Lost Evenings" here in Boston just before the pandemic and I went to literally every night of that... Which was fun. But there's only so many times you can re-shuffle your discography without feeling redundant. LOL
I saw Frank play Love Ire & Song at Pouzza last year in a small venue. It was incredible, and honestly, I could be satisfied with just that memory.
There's an Aftershock "leak" floating around and I have my doubts. Like we'll know in 25 minutes but multiple things seem sus. https://www.reddit.com/r/AftershockFestival/s/KClkUx0SKI Edit: Well never mind, Atreyu just posted it on Facebook. Kind of a downgrade from last year.
The festival blasted the lineup out to their various mailing lists before the public drop. It’s legit
