Wonder if the Tame tour is repeating markets or just playing places he didn't hit in the fall. Fall tour was limited but with these heavy hitter openers (ticket sales-wise), he can probably do ballparks in some cities.
The cities are in the video. I think he played Houston in the fall, which is the only one I can see that's a repeat.
I think it's just an one off. Pretty sure they finished their north america tour either at the end of 2025 or January?
Not a fan on the Jimmy Eat World experience today. First time I’ve seen a venue charge MORE for aisle seats, and some seats costing more than the pit itself, so essentially nose bleeds (last row before the lawn). Add that with one of the worst venues in Northern CA? I’m gonna wait to maybe find a second hand ticket closer to.
What's annoying is they'll count an aisle seat as like....a seat 3-4 rows from the aisle, not the LITERAL aisle seat.
They’ve been charging extra for aisle seats for at least a decade. As far as charging more for seats than pit, that’s been a common thing lately for 70s/80s era bands. They know their audiences would rather sit so they pay a premium for the luxury. If they’re doing it for JEW, we’re truly getting old.
Would love to be in those meetings discussing pricing to determine when pit is viewed as a premium or not.
The “premium aisle charge” has become a thing with Ticketmaster. I’ve run into it when buying tickets to other events in NorCal. It’s bullshit.
Yeah just about every arena/amp show I’ve been to the past couple years, there’s been an extra charge for aisle seats. It blows
Thursday will not be on any of the Jimmy Eat World dates. From their newsletter: Oh - we also got quite a lot of notes about the Jimmy Eat World Bleed American 25 year anniversary tour having our name on the poster. We are not sure how that happened, but unfortunately we are not part of it. We’d love to be, but it wasn’t on the cards this time! Hopefully some day soon we can do shows with those guys as we love their music and love them as people!
