Exactly what I said - I'd gladly trade them at Warped for them & Motion City at the Grove or something.
i honestly hope warped long beach sells badly this year because I'd rather have all the tours the bands are doing in other cities instead of a terrible 80k capacity fest with overlapping sets that still books problematic artists and is the same weekend as comic con. let it die already
hell yesss! this is very exciting to me! i got into this album just a year ago and have been obsessed with it since. so criminally underrated. i will definitely be at the SLC show.
If this was coming closer to me than a three hour drive, I would absolutely go to this. Great record.
Most cities, if you're using public transportation, you're traveling at least 30 minutes within the city for a show. It's the schlepping out to a suburban town that is a bit of a barrier.
At least for me back when I was living in the city, it would take me 40 minutes just to get from my apartment to Penn Station, and then it would be another 60+ minute train to go the nearest station by Jones Beach/PNC/whatever venue outside the boroughs. Then figuring out travel from the station to the venue. And then factor in that trains only run once every 90 minutes late at night....it is just a nightmare. I did it once and vowed to never to do again haha
Yeah those amphitheaters in the NYC area are a nightmare. Jones Beach stopped running the bus from the Freeport station so you HAVE to rely on cabs/rideshare from the station which inevitably gouge you because there is literally no other way to get back. I think PNC Bank Arts Center still does the school bus from the NJ Transit station though.
yeah hopefully this year they have buses after the show because it was more to leave the Halsey concert than it was to see the show lol, and the cab driver I didn't have $60+ cash on me and it's like who do you think is seeing Halsey and even within the city there are some parts of Brooklyn and Queens that may as well as be another planet
I believe Deicide, Rotting Christ and Immolation are opening for Behemoth this spring. Could be a one-off, but goddamn that is a heavy combo show.
The cattle decapitation, Brujeria, no cure, knoll got announced today. Seems like the two tours combined for the day
