Mexico City is the same day as MCR, some friends and me are sad we are going to miss this one but we already got tickets for My Chem
Those are B-market shows, though. No one living in Manhattan/BK/Queens without a car is gonna do the trek out to Long Island or Sayreville.
Hey man! I trekked to Mulcahy's to see Jimmy Eat World in 2022. It's thankfully right off the LIRR stop haha. In all seriousness, you are right that those are treks. Starland Ballroom is in the middle of nowhere and not accessible via public transportation.
I'm going to Warped LB so i'm happy i get to see the album in full but i hate that it has to be around tens of thousands of ppl. I want an arena date and I'm still holding out hope. Maybe they can't announce it yet?
Sunday is easily gonna be the best. If Hayley doesn't come out to play "Uncomfortably Numb" with American Football, I will be so upset.
The irony is all my Long Island friends are always taking hour+ train rides into the city for shows, but when I was living in Manhattan I was wayyyy too stubborn to do that reverse commute haha
Glad the Jimmy Eats World dates finally dropped. Can’t wait for the next season of “When will this band finally drop tour dates?” in a couple months.
There's a whole bit on the Inforoo "Upcoming Shows" thread where this one guy is pissed when tours constantly don't come to Boston that it almost seems like the universe is leaning into and a lot of tours skip Boston now. But, yes, us NYC folks pay a premium to live here and deal with all shorts of shit so we deserve an area date on every leg of a tour.
