I don’t know but we got another one of those “sign up for the mailing list” notifications via Instagram today….and they did show each band member once per week the last 4 weeks soooo maybe tomorrow lol
I am actually shocked at how well that NeYo + Akon amphitheater tour is selling. Jones Beach in particular is already like 90% sold. I really thought this would be an easy $10 week of ticket
That’s funny, the date by me has so many tickets left and the lawn is dark blue. Hope we get that $30 all in deal again this year
Meh. This doesn't mean they give a shit. It just means they want to look like they give a shit. Just last week, the singer from this band was talking about how his political beliefs were secret and blah blah blah. I'm sure the mentality hasn't changed.
I mean would you rather them ignore the outcry from their fans who didn’t want them on the festival and play it anyway? They listened and pulled out, and if it was a strictly business decision or saving face, at the end of the day their actions are hurting the festival and that should take precedent over whether or not they “mean it”.
The first few Punk in the Park line-ups for the year dropped today. And from the looks of it - most of the bigger bands took a cue from the Dropkick Murphys and opted out... The line-ups include: Screeching Weasel, Agnostic Front, the Queers, Street Dogs, the "Dead Kennedys," CKY, Leftover Crack and a few others. LOL It's all artists who are either aggressively anti-vax, Republican, or just in the "FUCK IT PUNK IS PUNK!" category. Corny as hell. Really hope these tank and that this sticks for the rest of the year.
Those lineups are embarrassing considering the level of bands they used to be able to pull. The fact they had to book CKY…
Those lineups are bad. Like how many people can you actually get for a lineup like that? Maybe 1-2K if you’re lucky? I don’t get how that is sustainable at all and all of those bands have played the same festivals the past few years. Nothing special about it at all.
You know it's bad when Scott "yeah sure I'll play Sinatra in the Reagan movie" Stapp doesn't even want to be on anymore.
The one that was headlined by creed and shinedown has been completely cancelled. Creed was only playing that one.
I don’t know how true it is? But in the octane chat, the artists were not told the marketing was gonna have this kind of “maga American spin” it was sold as this country meets rock blue collar focused type thing.
