Circle Jerks are playing here with a screening of Repo Man on Friday and Soul Blind is here Saturday, so I'll have to see what makes the most sense in the end

 

California doesn’t need anymore festivals, but I admit I’m curious about this one.

 

As a life long east coaster/NYC area person, always jealous that the LA extended universe can have so many festivals and we can barely maintain 1-2.

 

Shinedown casino date in July popped up on StubHub. Openers are Coheed, Black Stone Cherry, and From Ashes To New. Could be a tour package, one off, or total bs. Shall see

Yeah that is a very strange combo

 

Nothing makes me more upset than looking at the lineups of All Points West, Panorama, Field Day and the various Randall’s Island fests, and how they all failed.

Although I think (?) the CBGB fest did well last year….could be a good test for a possible Just Like Heaven-esq fest to come to K Bridge one day.

 

I did one day at all points west...even with the mud, it was a great time

 

The parking for that is going to be a disaster

Was at an Emo's Not Dead pre-cruise party/show featuring Hawthorne Heights tonight (Miami) and they announced they'd be playing in West Palm Beach later this year.

West Palm Beach isn't part of their current tour leg so I'm guessing it's a second leg of If Only You Were Lonely. Or they're opening for a much larger band since smaller venues in WPB that could host them are sparse.

Looking back on Field Day, that is such a murderers row of acts! Radiohead, Beastie Boys, Blur, Sigur Ros, My Morning Jacket, Beck, Interpol, Bright Eyes, Dashboard Confessional, etc. I remember they initially tried to do it in a field on Long Island but had to move to Giants Stadium last minute which obviously changed the vibe.

 

PS Expect Ticketmaster to be shaky today with the BTS on sale

 

For some reason, my X feed for the last 24 hours has been people bugging Ticketmaster Support about how many tabs for different BTS presales they could have open at once. One had a 3-monitor set up with at least 2 different presale countdowns on each.

 

I got booted trying to buy tickets to two separate Hayley Williams dates so I would definitely not recommend people have multiple shows loaded.
