Nelly's last record was also "pop country". He's been double dipping with country or rap tours for like half a decade now.
I accidentally saw Five Finger Death Punch at a festival once. The singer spent a few minutes complaining on-stage about Fat Mike making jokes about him. He seemed legitimately upset and confused that "one of his heroes" did not like his music. It was a very funny moment and the only thing that band has ever done that is worth discussing, IMHO.
red chord once said from stage at the first mayhem fest that they talked about all the bands giving them silly names but they were the one band that couldn’t take a joke, and asked them to stop.
Saw them multiple times at Carolina Rebellion years ago (admittedly, I liked their earlier material but eventually stopped liking the band). The last time I saw them, Ivan was on stage holding one of those hyper nationalist boomer shirts that said “If this flag offends you, I’ll help you pack” and you would have thought rabid animals were in the crowd. His speech continued and then my colored self exited stage left due to some weird looks I was getting by others in the vicinity.
