I’m perplexed on why they would have 2 Indiana bands opening but no Indianapolis date. Summerbruise and Leisure Hour move tickets on their own here. And Summerbruise won’t even be on the Chicago or Detroit dates which are the next closest ones
I believe there was a post not too far back about Albert of The Strokes being accused of grooming and other creeper behavior. Not sure about specific assault infractions or if another band on the admat has shit going on.
Looks like the Eaux Claires festival in Wisconsin might be coming back. Website has a mailing list sign-up link and they're posting teaser-type stuff on their socials. I had completely memory-holed this festival so... Interesting to see what they do in the current climate. For the handful of years it existed (2015-2018) they always curated an interesting line-up.
No it was a straight up papa roach headline tour. They played for like an hour and a half every night. Rise only got an hour
I got to sell merch at the chariot’s final shows at chain and when American Nightmare played Chan twice back in 2014. Such full circle moments for me being a kid from New Hampshire that grew up watching videos of all my favorite bands play that place. RIP
Probably gonna try and catch him on a future solo tour since I’ll already be flying for two shows in April. Being able to hear this man perform even a handful of The Fray songs live would be a dream for middle school me.
I get it's Canada but Jimmy Eat World opening for Simple Plan and the other day being Country is sending me
Wish that Our Lady Peace/The Verve Pipe was a different night than The Format in Philly, but I guess I'll go to Asbury Park.
Compared to last year's lineup which had Green Day, Fall Out Boy & Hozier headlining, this feels like a MAJOR step down. Nothing against Matchbox but they definitely feel like the weakest headliner this fest has ever had, and The Lumineers, The Strokes, The Fray & Dashboard Confessional just prove to me this fest is pivoting into being a total millenial cheesefest. Good for Die Spitz, Heart To Gold and a handful of other bands on the undercard, but outside of AAR, Lucy Dacus, & Cage The Elephant I can't really see anyone I'd pay festival prices to see.
So thankful I made it out to that TWY show at the chain earlier this fall. Felt real crazy being inside a room that I had watched so many sets recorded from and heard so much lore about
Excited by the possibility of Eaux Claires returning. Went to the first one and the last one and they were two of the best festival experiences I’ve ever had.
Hangout Festival, Which Rebranded With Morgan Wallen This Year, Won’t Return In 2026 Hangout isn’t coming back this year
Lily Allen presale just started and 50k in front of me for a 1400 seat venue...this thing isn't making it to the general onsale on Fri. edit: show sold out at 10:04...tickets on sale on Stubhub starting at $340 before fees, these are $79 face value tickets...
