Stacked. Dates should drop tomorrow based on IG teaser. Microwave seem allergic to DC, they’ve only played here once in years, opening for Menzingers
I think Hawthorne Heights is contractually obligated to play Warped at this point, so they're probably a lock. The others maybe not if that's just a random fly-in show in Indiana, but it seems weird to have those four on the road together right around Warped.
I saw them over the summer, they sound more like an indie band than an actual rock. They changed their performance style, even for the older songs.
I've seen them once at the Rock Hall for MTV probably 20 years ago and they were great, but I really haven't listened to anything they've put out since then.
Does that Jimmy Eat World show in Calgary in July provide hope they will then dip into the states for a summer US Bleed American tour?
That's cool with me, iin fact probably prefer to see them that way...just wondering if they still sound good and are worth seeing
the chugging guitar is like some of the random Pantera songs I hear on SIriusXM all the time from the later albums, but that isn't a compliment to A7X
I'd probably dig Avenged Sevenfold if they had a vocalist I liked. They always would try to compare themselves to Guns N Roses in the mid 00s but their really lack melodic hooks coupled with the d-bag singing, just couldn't do it. The band seems tight though.
re: the Goo Goo Dolls' resurgence, this is in the press release about the tour regarding "Iris" and its wild TikTok boost in the past couple of years: On the heels of going viral on TikTok, “Iris” is now Certified Diamond and accumulated over 5 billion streams to date worldwide, amassing over a billion streams in 2025 alone.
Man good for them…I remember professing my love for my middle school crush with this song when it came out…sadly she did not reciprocate my feelings…still a great song though
