There is a Slaughter To Prevail and Attila NA tour floating around out there….i mean I guess better to tour together then infect shows I would want to see
Mad respect for Goo Goo Dolls for being able to do shed tours basically every summer and still, I guess, do well enough that Live Nation rebooks them. I imagine ticket sales can be sluggish in certain cities but I imagine the audience that goes is the 2-3 beers/person audience so probably still profitable.
Their last two albums are just as hooky and fun as the ones their big singles are from. They just haven't had the same mainstream success but the quality, at least in my opinion, has remained.
Did they have like a big TikTok song recently? I feel like they are currently as big as they ever were. I missed them this Summer because of another show and it doesn’t appear this one is coming here, bummer.
Weird they’re hitting up LA, Chicago and NY on this tour considering they are playing all three cities in May as part of Slide Away ‘26
Whitechapel is also on it. Of all the bands on Sonic Temple that I would have liked to see them with this had to be bottom of the barrel.
They definitely had a tiktok moment last year...they sold out shows as part of their summer tour last year whereas in previous years you would find 20 dollar groupons for nearly every date
