That Ben Quad tour narrows down the TWY openers quite a bit based on the Treefort lineup.

Pretty underwhelmed with that Bonnaroo lineup

If The Strokes are playing 'Roo, they are definitely playing Gov Ball (and that sucks as that's an underwhelming and tired headliner).

this year feels very “we couldn’t land a big fish” and i worry that’s going to translate to other fests, but hopefully not the case. i think the lineup as a whole is solid enough and i actually enjoy the headliners more than i do some years, but it does kinda feel like these are artists that should be playing right before the big headliner would be on most fests.

Also snagged two tickets to Miami date of the FKA twigs tour for $99 total. Seems like a great price. Super excited for that.

Not gonna lie as a 40+ year old this is the most names I have recognized on one of the big fests posters in a few years....I don't listen to all the bands on Friday but I do know there is a lot of rock to be loved in there which is nice to see....Geese will be headlining fests in the next year or two and I hope GovBall snags them with the NYC vibe...I'd still be surprised to see The Strokes as a headliner since they seem to target the under 20 crowd with their headliners in recent years

  12. for Bonnaroo, I'd see Aly & AJ, Holly Humberstone, Passion Pit, and maybe Turnover while I eat some lunch.

The vibe of Bonnaroo is generally really nice and fun, which keeps me coming back. But I am going to be pretty bored this year based on this lineup. Will really enjoy seeing Holly Humberstone though

This Bonnaroo lineup looks solid to me, plenty for me to check out. I don't need a fest to splurge on a big deal headliner, I much more appreciate a more even undercard.

I think everyone knew that this year would be a little smaller considering what happened this year, but I wasn't expecting it to be this rough.

Now that Soundside in CT is officially done I feel like Govball might finally start swaying back towards rock. Could totally picture a Strokes/Turnstile/Geese day.

I wish that would come to fruition but I think the Soundside fest catered to an older demo of people who moved out of the city and lean more towards heritage alt/indie. I'd love to be wrong though.

Wild that Gorillaz, at this point, are more of a draw in North America than Blur is.
