That would be cool but rise is very against doing full album plays. Zack is the only one up for it. He’s tried to get them to do suffer/siren song and the rest of the band always says no over the crazy amounts of times I’ve seen rise I’ve seen suffer in full outside of the approaching curve. They’ve never done the song live before
I don’t think Tim could even do a full alum play for any album before Appeal to Reason. His voice can’t handle it. There’s a reason they do short headlining sets with a lot of talking.
Patiently waiting some news or details on who Yellowcard is touring with and who The Maine is bringing out as well. The Maine announcement appears set for 12/8
Their sets are still suffer heavy. Nowhere generation tour was 17 songs. Most songs I’ve seen them perform in a show is 20
Shower thought: It's crazy that the Pop Disaster Tour (Blink-182, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World) in 2002 was roughly $40 after fees.
I'm sure Tim could handle an album play with some adjustments and help from other band members/crowd participation for some of the screamier bits. Feels more like they just don't want to do it. Anyway. Excited to see when/what we get for the Jimmy Eat World tour here in the US! I could see them doing something pretty neat with the openers.
The date I opted to go to was attached to a radio station festival but, yeah, probably about that price. We had 90s pricing well into the 00s for shows. EDIT: I think this flyer has been dug up a few times but wild snapshot of 2002 (L O L at the "Sobe Stage" branding)
Crazy to think that if that tour happened today, lower bowl tickets would be at least quadruple the prices they were in 2002... while most of us don't get paid quadruple what we did back then haha
Funny thing about that show is outside of Blink, Green Day and STD, all bands played on stages that were across from each other and were accessible GA by everyone. So as the day started to get more packed by the end of the day, you had 30k people trying to cram into a space that held probably 8-10k.
August Burns Red announcement tomorrow. Probably a tour I'd imagine just based on the day of the week, but could also be Christmas song or album or something else.
Given a lot of amphitheaters made the change this year the one in tinley park Illinois is finally make the change next year and making people pay for parking. Saw that on the ticket page for evanescence
