MJ/Waxahatchee tickets are either $70 or $92 all-in for DC. Ranging from $41-$81 in Richmond. Makes sense it’s expensive for DC, as an easy sell out (or two) after 5 nights sold out at 9:30 Club this past year, but definitely steep.
My MJ/Waxahatchee ticket price changed as I was trying to check out. Was originally $99 then jumped to $120.
That Angel Du$t tour has some sick bands on it. Openers look to be super different from date to date so I can't help but feeling a bit underwhelmed looking at the poster and then seeing who wound up as the opener in my city but... Still gonna be a fun time! Really excited that I'll finally get to see them headline!
Pretty obnoxious, TBH! I was initially bummed that Dave also seemingly skipped Boston on this run but I'm now 100% convinced he'll be an opener for at least one of the Murphy's shows... Which is actually kinda dope because it will probably push him up a venue level or two given his stage presence and general 'style.'
The Michigan date of Angel Du$t tour is Negative Approach, Big Boy, Bad Beat, and The Sissy Boys. SHOW OF THE YEAR IN MARCH IS CRAZY
Strike Anywhere play more than 2-3 shows on any given run challenge. Seriously, though. Given all the random one-off melodic punk shows Riot Fest seems to book throughout the year... I'm surprised they haven't pulled them in at least once! Really need Big Boy to play anywhere within a one-hour drive from me on a bill like this please and thank you!
Pure guessing on my part. And TBH, I was expecting something in MA because his Wanna Heart It show was last night... Which felt like convenient timing. Haha. Curious to hear if he says anything. Dave never toured with them but I'm pretty sure their paths would have crossed when he was a roadie. I'm pretty eager to see who winds up as an opener. There's a slew of potential bands that would make a ton of sense given that it's their 30 year anniversary...
