8th Bon Jovi MSG date added... How the fuck his voice is gonna hold up before he travels over for the Ireland then Edinburgh and Wembley Stadium shows is beyond me!
Well if his voice is fucked by the time the tour comes over here.. if they have a back up plan incase this happens.. they should just get Bryan Adams to sing for the band instead... Dude is 3 years older than Jon and he can still sing and hit the notes perfectly after all this time, he'll definitely do the Bon Jovi songs justice big time!
Thursday is going to celebrate the 25th anniversary of full collapse throughout 2026. Raise your hand if your surprised?
WHYYYYYYYYY THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THAT. I love that album for sure but dude, we’ve all seen it live. We have had so many opportunities and your people did it because we love you and that album, but come onnnnnnnn I feel like that band doesn’t get there are a band for the heads. I feel like their fanbase wants to hear deep cuts. Or maybe I am on an island
The original tour in South America was Black Veil Brides, Underoath, Silverstein, Senses Fail and I Set My Friends on Fire. Silverstein and Underoath dropped of the tour a few weeks ago, and the other 3 bands played the first show of the tour in Colombia yesterday. Not sure what happened that made BVB to cancel the rest of the tour, probs low ticket sales.
agreed, hearing jt say (earnestly) they want to be "the emo grateful dead" at riot fest a couple years ago just left me flabbergasted. that being said, a FC tour is annoying but ill probably go, maybe the support will be good/surprising.
I mean if people are coming and it's making money you can't really fault them for continually doing the same album play. It makes sense from a financial standpoint. Why take the risk playing a normal set where people might not show up when you can just play the album with the hits that you know people will show up for?
I don’t blame HH or Thursday for doing the album tours. The last non album headliner I remember for Thursday had great support (Touché Amore/Basement) and it absolutely bombed in Portland. HH hasn’t drawn well for non album headliners in a very long time. If it’s the only way they can maintain fans coming to shows, it’s more a fanbase problem and a necessary evil for the band.
Album play or not, unfortunately Thursday has never drawn well at any show I've seen them headline (at least in the Cleveland area) in the past 10+ years.
