Damn very good lineup this year, usually only make it down one day but might try to pull off thurs-sat
This is how I always feel about the DWP and DWP-adjacent festivals. There's usually one stage each day that's solid for my tastes and maybe 4-5 other artists scattered across the weekend. It's interesting to look at, and each of those individual stages would inevitably be fun, but they never have anything interesting/rare enough for my tastes that's worth the trek and dealing with that kind of crowd. But if it were in my area I would 100% be going to Friday on this explicitly for that Offspring/Sublime stage (plus Story of the Year and Powerman 5000).
Would love to go, but my girlfriend's moving in with me in May and money'll be tight. Thursday and Saturday especially rock.
I didnt even noticed The Wonder Years was in there, so this further proves KP and maybe Citizen are opening their tour (?)
Curious to see what tours come of that Sonic Temple lineup. I see Yellowcard and NFG are playing the same day…
Also wild that we live in world in which Good Charlotte and Simple Plan can now play the same fests as Tool and Megadeth
Also I’m baffled by the fact that Sublime still haven’t done a full, official tour yet. I assumed that they’d do fests for a year or two to build hype and then do a big tour. But now they’re going on year three of just doing festivals. I’m assuming they finally have to do a full U.S. tour next year, right?
Honestly, I feel like the festival strategy probably had more to do with making money and "feeling things out" rather than building hype (though that's likely a runoff positive from that approach). They did do that super short east coast run with the Interrupters and the Bouncing Souls earlier this year so... Maybe we see some shorter runs like that in 2026? Keeping things limited probably keeps those festival fees up and demand for the headliners they do do high as well. I'm not sure we'll ever see a proper/full US run from them, TBH. Though I wouldn't mind being wrong!
Friday MainStage is the perfect lineup for divorced dads who lost custody and owe child support who are also all considering joining ice.
