Didn’t see this posted. Wild to see these venue sizes compared to his popularity in Europe. Got tickets to Boston in the presale.
Touche is playing Roadrunner on December 13th as part of that Converge-curated festival (Saddest Day). So I'm guessing a Boston date, if there is one, would be announced after that.
Two NYC shows for Dance Hall Crashers and Hepcat! Wild line-up and probably going to make the trek down for at least one of these... But there's no way I can plan for that this far out. Secondhand market it is... They've also apparently got one more show for tomorrow that isn't east coast.
Lighter lineup than I would expect for a radio holiday show but The Format will be worth the price of admission
I'm not a big fan but from what I heard there is a lot of industrial influence in some of their stuff. I think it's one of those bands that used to do generic poat hardcore and then changed their style and got huge from Tik Tok.
There's gotta be a summer or fall tour for all the cities they're skipping right? May travel for this one, but part of me says to wait it out for the inevitable 2nd leg.
Also just in general, what is the point of artist presales when A) high demand is going to sell the shows out right away? and B) they are so easy to find or obvious to guess. It just means on-sale with a performative aspect to it. I don't think they actually 'hold' any tickets back right and would 100% sell out the whole thing in presale if they could?
Can get people signed up for mailing lists, add people to fan clubs, mine data from those signed up, etc.
leaked just before release sonic temple. personal opinion is that thurs, fri, and sunday all have some cool stuff here and there, but saturday is a hard pass for me. overall not enough to get me to travel
