My initial thought with the lack of a MA date is that they must be doing Boston Calling. But then I remember that BC is taking 2026 off and I've got no clue. Haha.

Guessing they may have locked in a festival somewhere or they'll just be doing another run at some point.

Isn't Aftershock in northern California? That shouldn't cancel out an LA date unless the radius clause extends that much

  3. Ewwww so they become SELLOUTS?!?

Sacramento. DWP fests seem to have some pretty crazy radius clauses.

Linkin park was on welcome to Rockville and didn’t have a single other Florida date.

Honestly I think it's just pure coincidence. BMTH was literally playing in LA 2 days before they closed out the festival this year.

eh, i still remember a few waves of announcements, so i'd expect more dates added here as well, plus, who knows maybe the nyc/la areas are being saved for some big festival or something. Dave clearly wants this return to be massive for the 30th anniversary of the first FF record so we'll see

Another very likely reality: Foo Fighters are just going to tour less and in shorter spurts moving forward.

The band is older. Dave has some personal drama (understatement) that would certainly justify spending more time at home. The bump in venue sizes means maintaining a bit of scarcity. Et cetera.

Definitely gonna hit up the Cleveland FF show. Had tickets to see them back in 2020, but the show got cancelled and never rescheduled. And Cleveland was part of that teaser a few years ago and then the show was ultimately just never announced, which was super odd.

Curious to see how this sells. Arena to Stadium is a significant jump - especially in Cleveland when there are very few stadium shows every summer.

John // OC now, OH forever.

I'd think the Foos are still playing LA on this tour, especially with both them and QOTSA being essentially locals. Probably waiting on either an NFL schedule for SoFi, but I wouldn't be surprised if they play Rose Bowl or something instead.

Unless maybe they're on Ohana Fest in Dana Point since that's always around that time of year too. Green Day just closed it out this year, I'd think they'd be an easy fit there.

oh yeah definitely, long gone are the days of multi-week tours from them for sure. Dave screams himself hoarse every night as it is

Saw the Foos on their opening night of the Concrete and Gold tour. 31 songs including a 5 song encore and I was standing for about 3 hours total. Amazing show. Soldified not needing to see them for a long time.

Foos headlined in 2023. Might be too soon for them to come back.

But I’ll be there if they headline. I’ve done Ohana this year and last and it’s a great time

Regarding acts that I think can level up to stadiums, y'all think The 1975 can do ballparks in major cities next time around?

A short northeast weekend run with CIV, Into Another, and Orange 9mm dropped! Just NYC, Philly, and CT.

Keeping my fingers crossed for something similar in Boston/Worcester at some point...
