Sublime? Truly one of the worst bands to have ever existed

Sublime becomes a significantly better band when you ignore the songs that are longer than 4-minutes in length and/or have the song "dub" in the title.

Sublime is fine, I don’t think they’re especially great, but there’s so much worse out there

Chicago, Minneapolis, & Boston dates added to Die Spitz' headline tour. Definitely check them out if you haven't heard them yet!

I’ll defend Sublime. I consider 40 oz To Freedom a favorite

    idk man

It's no 2025 but it was going to be crazy tough to beat that anyway. Primavera's lower years are still up there with the best years for a lot of major festivals. There are a lot of repeats from the last four years but not to a worrying degree.

Would love to see Knocked Loose the same day as My Bloody Valentine.

Primavera always delivers. But I feel out of touch seeing how high on the bill Addison Rae is.

Texas is the Reason were great at Riot Fest, but they played to about 200 people. I can't imagine their draw is any better in Barcelona.

Yeah it sadly kinda sounds like their tour this year isn’t doing too well? Bummer to hear. I’m seeing them in a couple weeks and I’m really excited

She’s way more popular than people think. The demand for her tour was insane. It was 100k plus in some places for the queue. She’s been billed super high on all the fests she’s playing next year.

Isn't Texas is the Reason with a different vocalist? I remember there was some conversation of whether or not it actually felt like a "reunion" and there was some pushback.

Different guitarist. Norman Brannon announced he wouldn’t participate in the reunion for personal reasons

Same vocalist. Norman opted out of the reunion for personal reasons and gave the band his blessing to press on with it. I don't recall any specific "pushback" in a major way but...

This feels more like they may have saturated the market on people wanting to see them play live. Pretty sure that's what's happening with Jawbreaker's current run of shows right now too (and honestly, I felt that with their Riot Fest performance this weekend too; band was on point but man the crowd didn't seem all that into it).
