Mannequin Pussy on this tour is the best possible outcome for me. Really didn't think I was going to get a chance to see them this year, but so stoked to be wrong. I hope Northerly Island is set up with the all GA layout (even though they'll probably still separate by pit and general GA)

Holy shit I can imagine the absolute carnage that's gonna go down for that show and the rest of the tour!

 

yeah its gonna be crazy but they do separate the pit and floor by a barricade. when i saw rise against there once thats what they did. people who had floor where upset tho that they where farther back.

tho I feel like for this one they are gonna sell as many tickets as they can without getting in trouble

I went on a huge Blood Orange kick a few years ago. Great catalog of chill ass/introspective music

 

Edgefield is the worst venue for this kind of show. Very small pit with a steep lawn. Sound sucks and traffic in/out of the venue is awful. It’s also October so it could be raining. This would have been much better at the Coliseum or Theater of the Clouds.

 

Pay the pretty penny for Turnstile. I'm still riding the high from the New York show.

 

Where did you hear 12k? Terminal B at Outer Harbor is a 5k sellable venue from what I've been told by their box office when I asked.

 

So bummed that turnstile date in LA is on the same night as day 1 of punk in the park and incubus/manchester orchestra which i already have tickets for. the struggle is real.

 

Yeah I just realized their San Diego show is the same day I already have tickets for Haim

Personal update: checked out Jane Remover and I can confirm I will be showing up late to miss them.

I like Speed but End It would be sick for the Baltimore connection plus Akil is such a good frontman.

 

At our date of the drain headliner, they were playing a bunch of Ramones songs and the crowd was singing a long to them all. Akil starts the set by singing the words too “he goes ok you all like the ramones? Too bad Joey was a racist piece of shit who can burn in hell” right into their first song” just chaos from start to finish.
