I woke up this morning thinking, "I need a summer tour SO BADLY! Like, more than ever!!!!!!"

 

Havent heard of any of those bands besides Trapt

 

Skipping Portland again and going to Bend. I hate Live Nation so much. My only hope is that maybe Yellowcard adds a Portland show in three day gap between Nampa and Seattle.

 

The Jacksonville show is at the arena and not Daily's. They must be taking Yellowcard's hometown draw into consideration.

 

I’m never that guy….but I’m not gonna lie I saw the venues for that third eye blind/Yellowcard tour and I was like what!?!? Camden is 25k

 

Yellowcard sold out 6-7k venues last year so I think they’re going big given TEB’s fan base as well. But I agree it’s a big push

 

call me naive but I think they could have played those same venues and not sold it out. I don’t think you will get that kind of crowd for them again the very next summer.

 

If they headlined alone, probably. And that’s probably why they’re opening for someone instead. But I think this tour will sell pretty well.

I wonder if a ton of tours that would usually played ampitheaters are gonna be stuffed into the Greek Theater in LA given the closure of the OC ampitheater. I'm not from LA but I assume the Hollywood Bowl isn't always easy to book for most tours?

Yeah, it's like 5-6k right? Gotta be tough for the shed tours in the LA market, I don't imagine everyone likes hauling to that one in San Bernardino

 

Yeah that’s why Five Point closing really sucks. The only option for a large venue in OC is the Honda Center in Anaheim (18k cap) or the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa (8k cap), but it’s only open during fair season

NBC Chicago somehow accidentally leaked the Chicago Pearl Jam’s dates Wrigley field August 29th and 31st

 

Wild that Ed Sheeran is playing festivals. Also, interesting this lineup includes The Offspring who I thought were banished to butt-rock only festivals.
