I don't know my SoCal geography well enough, is that still considered roughly LA area? I know it's right next to where KROQ used to to Inland Invasion, would LA folks make the trip?

Nah this is probably about 90 minutes from LA. I live roughly in the midway point. I’m sure die hard green day fans would make the trip.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

As someone who recently gotten into Crowbar, I'm stoked.

is this the full extent of Acceptance tour dates or are they going to continue announcing shows? i’m in this annoying position where i know i want to attend one of these shows but there’s no way i want to travel too far if i don’t have to. i would be very frustrated if i pull the trigger on a flight only for them to then announce a date local to me.

Would genuinely kill to see Acceptance play Phantoms in full, hope they expand the dates a bit more.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Went to buy Cartel tickets using a presale code right at 10 and it's showing that there aren't any tickets available? Like... there's no way, right?

EDIT: False alarm, Ticketmaster was just lagging.

That would be surprising but my estimation on what is going to sell and what is not has been off recently.

  14. if that NY show was in NYC I'd probably say fuck it an just have a nice lil (very expensive) Thursday/MCR weekend

  15. Cartel tickets were easy to get but too bad it’s at the TLA. One of my least favorite venues in Philly.

New Yellowcard album just got announced, so I’m assuming that ADTR/YC should be dropping at any moment now

I think next week it gets announced. The date that got leaked had a General onsale for June 5th

Cartel VIP ~ $180 for the pre show hang and $130 without it. As much as I’d love to see the acoustic set, regular tickets are $35.

On the topic of Cartel, I just finished that "where are your boys tonight" book about the rise of emo music....I was pretty much out of the scene after 2006 but the section about this band was hilarious as apparently they were on a reality show on MTV and the lead singer was saying how no one would take them seriously because he looked like Nick Carter (which after watching their music video, he totally does)

Oh man that was a fun time to be on this site. The threads for the Bubble show were legendary.

Opted for balcony tickets at Observatory in Santa Ana. Didn’t even know that was an option, there are a handful of tables and then stools behind them.

I always wondered how one went about getting a table there. I’d love to just watch a show from the balcony sometime, but it’s never an available option when I go to a show

I remember interviewing for a job to be on the marketing team for that Bubble show (and I namechecked AP during the interview, hah). I got picked for the gig because I "seemed passionate about emo music" and "understood the target demos" but had to turn it down because the pay was terrible and would have required relocation to NYC/me crashing on couches for at least 6 months.

At the time I was really sad about it, but in hindsight I'm real glad I turned it down.

There’s a set of tables up against the rail and stools behind them and a private bar it seems. I’d have gone table, but you had to buy all four seats there at $51 each. Stools right behind them were the same price. I don’t think they use them often but they’re apparently open for this one. There’s also a couple of GA sections up there it looks like.
