Nah they’ve hated Ronnie in there for a while, their current thing is throwback bands that all sound the same and use the same like 10 riffs over and over.

I bet if you posted that tour announcement on there one of the mods would remove it because it’s not “real metalcore.”

Falling In Reverse is one of those bands that somehow is able to take the most obnoxious and grating parts of multiple genres and put them together to really be on top of the diarrhea-core genre. Truly amazing they are able to be so terrible.

 

Everyday I am thankful that I’ve only heard maybe 10 seconds of a FIR song.

 

I boycott them because of Ronnie. but I've heard enough of their music and these takes, that I think it's almost in bad faith. It's very obvious why, Ronnie aside, they do so well. Nothing amazing about it. I despise a lot of genres and artists, but at the end of day, in my old age and wisdom (lol) I have a weird sort of 'I get why if you like this genre, these guys are good at it' and just leave it at that.

We can debate the ethics of supporting shitty people, but I'm over hating on music that just doesn't appeal to me but has mass appeal to others.

 

Oh I don't hate it because it has mass appeal, I just hate it because...of what it sounds like.

 

I’ve heard 2 FIR songs. 1 was some anti-cancel culture shit my coworker put on the aux, the other was that “my life is like a video game” song. Both absolute dogshit

 

I've had access to the LiveNation sale since Friday when they sent out the unique codes via e-mail and was hoping it was one of those pre-sales where more would become available during the General sale, but it appears to be just lawn seats at my local shed. Half of them have been and still are on Groupon for cheaper. Definitely disappointing compared to previous years. At least my local AEG venue had some decent deals during their Concert Week sale.

 

Yeah i'm bummed out a little too. Most shows are $40 all-in for the lawn so the savings seem minimal compared to years in the past.

 

Finally got my Rakuten code and of course it's very slim pickings. Zero shows in Orlando, which is surprising. And the only show in Jacksonville would be up my wife's alley (Shania) but there weren't any $30 tickets left.

 

Yeah, no luck with the Ratuken code either. Everything I was going to buy is still gone, such a washed year for this sale.

 

Holy shit! In a more fair world, Cave-In would be in ampitheaters having to sell really cheap lawn seats on-sale to pack the place out.

A really good way to not have Falling in Reverse in your life is to not talk about them and effectively just... Ignore them and posts about them. 11/10. Highly recommended.
