I mean bad bunny is one of the most popular artists in the world. I feel like he’s the Spanish speaking equivalent to like a Taylor with his appeal

Rough day for Sonic Temple... Incubus dropped because of a illness too. That's both main stage direct support slots for Saturday and Sunday. Curious to see who they slot in.

(And I hope everyone in the bands is ultimately okay... Obviously.)

Probably a bad business move for Live Nation if they don't go ahead with the $25 ticket deal this year.

I just checked out of curiosity and the LA date of that Offspring tour is not doing hot. They’re offering 4-packs of tickets for the far back seats. That’s usually the sign

I’m actually a little bit surprised considering it’s their “hometown” show. The sales in other markets don’t surprise me. But I would’ve assumed LA would’ve done well

I think it's due to way too many tours happening in a competitive market and with tickets being expensive, gig goers r being selective on which gigs to go to and because of that.. tours like that The Offspring, their ticket sales have been affected big time

I have to imagine the economy is a huge part of this. Back in the 2000/2010’s, people just had money to be like “oh live or OAR or goo goo dolls “are playing the shed, let’s spend 100 bucks tonight and get 2 drinks and hang on the lawn”. I imagine offspring and early 2000’s bands thought that was their retirement plan, but with the economy in the shitter and prices being so high for gigs, this kinda shit happens

Maybe don’t charge $200 for any decent seat and you’d get more sales. I don’t know why anyone would expect people to pay $200 to see The Offspring/JEW/NFG when you can see them cheaper at festivals and all of the bands tour quite regularly.

I guess it’s not that bad but still overpriced. Good 100 level seats are $185 and sides for 100 level/good 200 level seats are $160. That’s still quite wild.

If a band is touring regularly without new music and I have already seen them a few times then I am less inclined to see them again (see: Jimmy Eat World), especially if I know they will be back in a year or two but I can use that money to see other artists who will take longer to come back or are touring new music.
