Different stage/arena layouts but Pierce the Veil (MSG) outselling Linkin Park (Barclays) in NY is something.

I may have already mentioned this in the thread but if you told me five years ago that Sleep Token would be selling better than a Linkin Park reunion I would've asked what you were smoking. Same principle.

it’s ok, people sometimes just can’t see what is coming up. I said four or five years ago here that Spiritbox is an arena band, and got a few laughs and nasty comments, and their next headliner is def gonna be arena level.

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

One thing about LP reunion is they just aren’t great live. I’ve seen a lot of videos and Emily feels uncomfortable, mike is technically proficient but boring and no one else moves or does anything. There is a complete lack of danger in their material and presence.

I compare this to stone temple pilots trying to continue on without Weiland. I feel for the rest of the musicians I really do, but to most people Chester was obviously the band. Who they identify with, who they thought of and there aren’t nearly as many people as they thought interested in this band without him.

they also played Barclays as part of their first set of shows after they reformed. So not completely shocked second time back isnt doing so well.
Its a weird tour. Some cities doing great, some doing abysmal

Makes sense to me at least in my area. Probably not of Rob Thomas superfans living in the city proper but suburban NJ is likely where he'll do well.

Dates are up on Ticketmaster. Venues for this one are weird. Some amphitheaters, some arenas, some theaters… It’s an assortment

The local show of the Mudvayne show (Youngstown) is in an 8K minor league hockey arena.
