Now let’s debate if he’s gonna fill arenas.

He had the TD Garden booked here in Boston last summer with Cypress Hill as direct support which is a strong package. The show was cancelled due to "logistical concerns" (i.e., there was a lot of blue on the Ticketmaster page).

And that venue is about the same capacity as the one there. So I don't really see this working unless something external happens (TikTok). He's in that J.Lo category where he's got a lot of name recognition and plenty of hits but people just aren't passionate about them as artists/personalities the way they are some of their peers.

I think it really depends on the market/lineup.

I think it’ll do decently in California. But as for these other cities, I’m not sure…

That All Things Go lineup…yeesh. Not saying it’s a bad lineup per se but none of these artists collectively warrant $640 to see them without having to stare at a screen. All of these artists tour regularly and there are no unique bookings, which would be fine if the price was cheaper, but it’s not. People were thinking Lorde, Haim, Gracie Abrams, etc. might be headlining (prior to the lineup release) and that still would not have justified the ridiculous price but it would have made it at least…a smidge better.

I like Lucy (even though I’m not huge on her latest album) but I’m surprised she is the #1 overall headliner on Saturday. I feel like each day they are missing a “true” headliner (Noah I can understand though)

Yeah, for increased price, I guess the only heavy hitter draw-wise is really Noah Kahan as he's the only one who does stadiums/arenas/sheds consistently aside from Kesha who I'm not sure if she does arenas in every city. Djo, Lucy Dacus and The Marias can probably do arenas in some cities but given they already have tours announced they're not AS big of a grab.

For NYC, the crossover I imagine wijll be Marias, Lucy Dacus, Last Dinner Party, Julien Baker & Torres, Ashe, The Aces with the possible addition of like Bleachers and Haim.

I’m never going to stop praising Coachella for being my best value cause goddamn my ticket looks like a steal compared to that

I know we have some insiders here, do headliners, second liners typically receive a higher fee for festival appearances vs individual dates?

    run away with me Platinum

Yeah and people in the area are upset because they feel like their cool area fest got too corporate which I totally get

It’s a good lineup for what it is, but it is not worth $640. That’s actually wild

Aren't lawn tickets like $350 for All Things

Yeah $640 is crazy especially when most of the artists there that I like on that lineup I just saw at Coachella for even cheaper and I got a hell of a lot more too

Granted mine was in New York, but my upper bowl tickets were $150 for two days. It looks like this year it's $400 for three days.
