I’m not a lp fan at all, but their current draw varies wildly by market. Toronto arena show is completely sold out aside from a handful of $650 platinum floor tickets and some scattered $350 resale bowl seats

Is there any word on a Bon Iver tour happening this year? With the new album out tomorrow, I’m surprised nothing’s been announced yet

I guess they're doing more than 1 show for a beautiful lie. Just saw a date pop up at the kia forum for August 16

 

Some new dates added to the Haywire tour:

6/29 - Missoula, MT - ZACC
7/22 - Bloomington, IN - Roses
7/24 - Atlanta, GA - Culture Shock
7/31 - Troy, NY - No Fun

So extremely disappointed. They could do NUMBERS bringing this to more than just one venue. I'm attending a family wedding that weekend or I'd legit fly out there. That album crushes.

 

Eh...I don't think 30STM can do numbers in North America. They are huge in UK/Europe and other areas but they're a theater band at best here, as evidences by the poor sales of the last two tours they did.

 

Yeah didn’t that tour with AFI essentially flop?

If they did that album play and had stronger support, I could see it doing decently. But I imagine they’ll only do limited shows. Leto’s ego won’t let them play smaller venues than arenas and amps

 

No one cares about 30STM anymore, even doing an album play. One show is what it deserves.

 

Maybe I was just blind to the crowd but I thought my AFI/30STM show was pretty full.

And yeah, if his ego won't allow it then they won't be doing smaller venues then sadly.

 

It flopped as did their 2018 tour which is why I don't understand how promoters keep throwing the kind of money at them to warrant these venues. Maybe they have a lower guarantee and/or their audiences are more likely to buy lots of concessions?

 

I very much care to hear that album in full

 

I mean literally not no one but not enough people to sustain an actual tour.

but.. but... then I might discover someone new and cool I like, and see that they're playing a show nearby and then buy tickets and then go to the show and realize when I get to the bar I'm not just old, I'm like the only one old enough to even be drinking and then I'll stand around all awkward and be like 'how did i even find this band' and 'why am i here' and 'am i even allowed to be here?' and just be anxious like everyone's looking at me even though no one is and then I'll go home and listen to the same old nostalgic music until everything is better.

 

The irony is that I think an AFI/Poppy/KennyHoopla small theater tour would've sold more tickets than the 30STM/AFI/Poppy/Kenny arena tour did.

 

I can't imagine still wanting to support Jared Leto

 

Yea I haven no hopes for the new Tron movie because of him.
