I wouldn't say MCR "struggled' to fill UBS, just the resale prices weren't as insane as the other dates.

 

I went to the UBS show and there were plenty of empty seats. We snuck down to the 100 level halfway through their set and there was 3 rows completely empty from aisle to aisle.
But yes my biggest gripe was I spent $100 on nosebleed seats and then week of there were better seats on stubub for 30 bucks lol

 

Ah didn't realize so, yeah, 5 dates was probably a bit much. I still am suspicious of their Metlife "Sold Out" date as well.

 

Pretty sure it's just a one off. LOG and Gwar are both local.

 

They just reposted the show. I guess it was supposed to be a noon announcement and they jumped the gun? Not sure.

I was wondering the same thing. I’m betting there was routing/logistical issues due to their fall tour

 

Been thinking the same as well. Plus from a logistical standpoint is the potential exposure even worth it when you're going to have to turn off/limit comments on your announcement? Like I won't be surprised if prominent musicians within the scene go to these shows, but I think most will be smart enough to not open them. At least not right now (and to be clear I'm on the side of anti-BN reunion).

 

im super excited for brand new to be back, its going to be fantastic.

i'd guess they'll have summer rental open again, they opened their 3 sold out shows last week and were fantastic
