No interest in this BN tour at all, but curious in how it sells. Maybe I’m underestimating but I feel like there are some ambitious bookings here.
My Chemical Romance’s initial reunion tour in 2022 struggled to fill UBS arena, and they’re 10x bigger.

  2. and they're doing 2 nights in a couple places, which seems pretty crazy.

Yeah that STP/Live thing isn’t too surprising. If I recall, 1995’s lineup was the result of the fest getting backlash for becoming “too mainstream” (or something along those lines) since most of the bands playing/headlining were becoming huge. So they intentionally booked smaller acts for Lolla ‘95. Sonic Youth headlined, bands like Pavement played, etc

Definitely wanna pick up that book though. Looks cool!

EDIT: Also, just realized STP never played an original Lollapalooza? That’s wild. I thought they played in 1994…

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I think part of it's based on the venue size. Masonic Theater in Detroit, for example, isn't nearly as big as the arenas they're playin gin other markets.

Embarrassing that everyone is just letting brand new come back and play arenas

I know I saw St. Augustine Amphitheatre announce the show on Facebook, but the post and event is now gone. I wonder if any comments sparked something..

Also that’s kind of a weird tour, if I’m being honest… I think SP could’ve done numbers if they just did a standard MC30 tour. That would’ve been an automatic ticket for me

My wife is gonna be stoked about Remi playing in OC again. Last time she came here was before she blew up opening for Still Woozy

Interesting that Remi Wolf is playing both Shadow Of The City and Sea Hear Now in AP

EDIT: I'm an idiot, didn't realize there's a SoCal one now.

Billy/William/Bill (whatever he's called these days) has always been steadfastly against nostalgia tours/album plays. I imagine this "reimagining" will be kinda cool but I wouldn't expect majority MCIS songs.

Just saw a poster for Lamb Of God/GWAR/Hatebreed happening July 24th in Richmond, VA. Not sure if this is a one-off or full tour

That's because they had 5 NYC arena shows, which was probably overestimating it. They didn't need 2 Prudential, 2 Barclays AND a UBS.

Brand New sticking with just 2 arena shows means there's 40% of the ticket supply as the MCR dates. Kinda surprised one of them isn't MSG/Barclays.
