I mean, Militarie Gun is very much in a position where they could do that winter/spring run and hit select dates as an opener for a bigger tour. And honestly, that would be a smart idea. Especially if it were somebody like Third Eye Blind or some other "alternative rock" act from the 90s or early 2000s that would get them in front of people outside the usual wheelhouse.

(Not expecting them to be part of that TEB tour but I do think something in that realm would work well for them. I want that band to blow-up so bad.)

 

Third Eye Blind / Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness would make a ton of sense

 

They are blowing up.

 

they hopefully are about to hit the Coachella lineup which would make it even crazier

Dang I feel like Militarie Gun popped up out of nowhere and were fast tracked to success. I mean they’re a great band, but their trajectory is very rare nowadays.

 

yeah that dude Ian was in a bunch of different bands. It kinda felt like he just threw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what stuck. He was also kinda troll-y on twitter with regional justice center so I have a hard time taking him seriously

 

Cattle Decapitation and Carnifex are enough to get me there if this ends up coming out west (and not just California west). Humanity's Last Breath and The Zenith Passage are just icing on the cake.

 

RJC was meant to make you have a knee jerk reaction

 

I saw them on the Touché Amoré with Vein FM and Scowl tour in 2022. At the time I didnt know who Scowl or Militarie Gun were as both bands were last minute replacements for Dogleg and Foxtails, but I was blown away by both bands and I was surprised they didnt blew up faster.

 

2024: the year of Scowl, Militarie Gun, Fleshwater and Knocked Loose.

 

Fleshwater is probably gonna be bigger than Vein soon

 

Their headliner tour is basically completely sold out.

 

Uhhh they are right now

 

I think all but the OKC show are sold out and the tour doesn't even start until April

Yeah that second vein record didn’t like tank but I don’t think it got near as much hype and critical acclaim as errorzone

 

Got my ticket baby! Did not make the same mistake I did with the second Scowl headliner. I’m so pissed. That had MG and MSPaint. (That’s another band that will blow up this year.)

 

Kublai Khan too, that tour they're doing with Sunami is also pretty much sold out.

 

Yeah I was surprised tbh. I thought it was a pretty solid record
