Turnstile was playing 4,500 capacity outdoor shows in 2022 in NJ, 6k in DC. They will be playing arenas when they are back.

like to me it’s a no brainer, but I wasn’t gonna argue with people. They were playing the biggest ga spots in 2022 and selling them out. Then they toured the world with Blink and every festival possible. They are def playing 8k-10k spots next

    idk man

I remember someone saying they were aiming for Barclays on a short run this year, I would expect some arenas in the big cities and then 4-6k venues on the official album tour. Whenever that is.

You can kind of hear All The Small Things in the teaser. Plus someone commented “blink-182??” and Four Chord liked it

Well now I need to decide between Sea Hear Now and Four Chord. Coming from DC and neither option is relatively close. Why do I feel like I need to see blink so badly when we're going to get the same setlist that I saw 4 times over the past two years..?

    It is blink

Yeah Turnstile was at like a 3.5k last time in Boston. As much as I wouldnt like it, I could realistically see them leveling up to Agganis Arena which is only 8k but huge for them to headline here imo. Would say something like the TD Garden is way too big for them tho.

The line-up for the 10/9 show is pretty wild: Narrow Head and Rival Schools opening.

I’m running the DC half marathon during Four Chord weekend and doing Ocean’s Calling, but Shaky Knees is still on my radar oops. Blink, MCR, Deftones, a bunch of others, and stay longer for PUP/Jeff + BMTH.

Up-and-coming rock bands that don’t do festivals have had a good balance of small arenas/big cities, big arena/small city, and other bigger rooms when in this position. There’s precedent for this (1975, PTV), so it’s probably not entirely NBA/NHL arenas or big clubs, with massive openers either way to fill the gap/match Turnstile’s mixed appeal

Crazy how losing the headliner automatically makes that bill so much more appealing

I’d agree. They’d do really well hitting college arenas

Other question is....will Chappell Roan come around and do multi nights at arenas or try to do ballparks in some cities?

Chappell Roan ballparks would be awesome, she absolutely has the draw to fill them.

The ball is in her court. I could see her doing multiple nights in an arena over ballparks. But she could certainly do ballparks if she wanted.

Turnstile is doing a handful of record release gigs in a few cities around spring/summer. I only have details on LA but it’s no barricade and honestly a pretty sick look for them. and then full tour in the fall. Not sure the size of venues but the support is pretty cool.

It would never happen but Turnstile/Knocked Loose would be a wild double bill and could fill arenas no problem

A coheadliner with some hardcore/hip hop support would do numbers

This has been a secret dream of mine for a second and to be quite honest I could see it happening, KL doesn't have much other than festivals in the fall and they share the aftershock stage with Turnstile. It could happen!

and I think most would say that tour would be able to draw 8k-10k

Something like KL/Turnstile Danny Brown Superheaven would be really cool
