This seemingly happens every year. To be fair, Forest Hills has definitely increased the amount of shows they have (I think it used to be weekends only) which affects the people that live right near the stadium. Still such an awesome venue for the city and I hope it stays.

When’s that Built To Spill/Yo La Tengo tour supposed to be announced?

Hozier was just announced 7/13 at my local shed in upstate NY. I’m sure more dates incoming.

And we're back to AA jumping on butt rock tours

my buddy made me go see them in October cause he had never seen them. And they were awful! Danny sounded so bad, couldn’t hit any notes, barely sang (did the whole mic out thing so much)

I saw them in May since I was given a ticket and it was awful as well. Danny is clearly half assing the set and you can tell he doesn't wanna be there

Chevelle is too good to be lumped in with the butt rock classification (same can be said for touring with AA, but they make their own choices I guess).

I'm prepared to be extremely gutted when they announce it because I'll be out of town all summer until like late September. So fingers crossed for an unlikely October date.

Chevelle must have a really poor view of themselves to always lump themselves in with that crowd. At least tour with interesting rock bands or something.

Chevelle/Three Days Grace/Dayseeker would honestly be right up my alley. Definitely just looking at the Aftershock lineup and throwing something together, but hey it's better than Asking Alexandria.

Shoutout to the Chevelle/Finger Eleven/Strata tour in 2007 that I saw. That’s a butt-rock adjacent tour I can get behind.

I miss Strata. Their older stuff, at least.

that first finger eleven record sounded like our lady peace, and then the follow up was nu metal adjacent, it was such a jarring transition.

Am I crazy or doesn’t someone here have a cousin that’s in Finger Eleven?

The Greyest of Blue Skies slapped. 13-year-old me thought Drag You Down was the coolest song ever at the time.

Ben Bruce made a wise decision leaving AA, he must of saw the writing on the wall and was like nah I am leaving

I love the band but I always hated that song. The lyrics are so bad.

The Rise Against/Chevelle show in Chicago back in 2021 was cool. It could be a cool pairing to see on tour.

This reminded me there was a Three Day Grace/Chevelle/Loathe tour in 2023.
