If I could bet the big bucks on lip syncing I would. I just hope the new drummer gets his bag from this lol shout out to his other bands Pains and Frail Body.

I almost bought a ticket yesterday for tonight (Saturday) in Chicago but ultimately decided against it. Might change my mind.

Last time I saw DRUGS he was definitely lipsyncing.

My date is sold out but i refused to go if he was lip synching this whole tour, which he did at wwwy and the cruise they did.

Haha! So rhe people we bought the house from
Used to raise rabbits. When we tore down an old shed, we found all the remnants of it … since we moved in, no rabbits have been harmed in 7 years!

Looking up what videos I can find… from what I’ve seen it seems he is actually singing this time (or at least more often). Stark difference from wwwy and the end cruise.

Honestly? He sounded pretty great. If there was a backtrack it was super minimal like most artists do.

Show was packed to the goddamn brim, every band killed it.

This would’ve been an insane tour in 2007

Now thinking about it, All American Rejects turning down The Offspring tour for this makes a lot of sense.

Yeah that came to mind for me too…

No offense to The Offspring, but if you’re given the choice of opening an arena tour, or a stadium tour, it’s a no-brainer

Do Jonas and AAR/BLG have a lot of fan crossover? I’m generally kind of confused by this.

one of their biggest songs was a Busted cover and Gen Z/Millennial cusp women are into pop punk, that's kind of how Avril is able to do so well

Incredibly cool for BLG and AAR to be on something like this so far into their careers.

I would say, when I saw BLG at when we were young I noticed the crowd was more on the posh side, so I can see a crossover of Jonas Brothes fans and them

Even if there isn’t much crossover in terms of current active listeners, bubblegum pop punk/pop rock is an easy pairing. Jonas Brothers fans will be recognize the AAR hits

Good for AAR for getting the bag I’d assume, selfishly would’ve liked them to see them on a bill that was a bit more scene based.

John // OC now, OH forever.

Not sure if they still do, but Jonas Brothers and Something Corporate used to share managers. When SoCo played their Bamboozle set in Anaheim back in the day, JoBros were side stage for it.

they might just be big fans of this scene themselves

They are. I remember seeing an interview where they name dropped a bunch of christian punk bands like Slick Shoes and MxPx

AAR played at JonasCon today in NJ and the JoBros fans were going nuts so yes, there’s crossover.
