To the maybe, like, 3-4 people in here that’d be interested: Shudder To Think played a last minute reunion show in LA yesterday. According to someone on Reddit that was in attendance, they announced that more shows and new music in the works

between this tour, the everclear/local H/ sponge tour as well as the toad the wet sprocket/semisonic/sixpence none the richer tour... 90s alt radio fans are eating good this summer. sorta wish my local radio station found away to bring them all in and do a throwback festival lise theyve done in the past

 

The minus the bear tickets are pretty $$$ comparatively at my local. $44 before fees when every other show at the same venue is $20-$30.

Does this mean Glass Animals is out for Lollapalooza? Or could they theoretically pull off the August 3rd date? I feel like that would be incredibly difficult for them but not impossible

 

the 8/3 show not having support makes me think that negotiations fell through for Lolla so they added another headline date last minute.

 

that "summer unity tour" is particularly funny considering its coming the day before 311 announces their regular summer "unity tour"

 

Not saying flop or not but 94% of ticket sales would likely include the tickets currently in the hands of scalpers/radio/agencies/friends etc who are holding out for extra side cash id think

 

Didn’t realize that these shows would also feature strings and piano arrangements. That sounds interesting

Hell yea...I wish they would because Im not dropping face value for any of these 90s acts despite my desire to see them...I think they all have 25 dollar deal written all over them...but if I could combine all of the "shed" tours this summer I would pay for a festival ticket of Collective Soul, Live, OLP, Everclear, Local H, Sponge, toad and the wet sprocket, semisonic, goo goo dolls, counting crows

 

That was supposed to be a thing in 2022; Sugar Ray, Everclear, Soul Asylum, Candlebox, Filter, Cracker, Fastball, Sponge, Star Zero, X Wire. A number of bands dropped out ahead of time when the organizers didn’t have their shit together.

The killers just announced a show in my small town and I am fully prepared to drop some money on those tickets. They’re a band I’ve always wanted to see but never had the chance.
