The Maine is teasing something for the 10th anniversary of American Candy. Tour?

Agreed. They already had the audacity to tour during NBA season and now this?

    idk man

Whoever mentioned Groupon tickets to Movements in this thread is an absolute real one. It knocked off something like $26 off the ticket price. Definitely wouldn't have gone to this show without that discount, so thank you. Here's hoping I don't get a facial scar like last time

I do too, if it's someone I'm really into. More freedom in it and can really get lost in the moment.

I have been going to shows solo for over 15 years now and wouldn’t have it any other way.

My wife doesn’t care to go to concerts at all and my best friends who I used to go to shows with all the time in my teens and 20s either stopped caring or moved away.

Every now and then my sister and brother-in-law will catch a show with me, but even then I typically drive separate (they live in my neighborhood), show up later than them.

Between my two kids sports schedules and my work schedule, I’m rarely able to even leave an event/my house for a show before 8/8:15ish so going solo and not having to worry about driving down with others, or worrying if others want to go down early, eat dinner, get drinks, catch openers, works super well for me.

I much prefer going solo. Occasionally, my wife will go with me, and we also bring our daughter to a big show every year. Otherwise, though, it's just so much easier going by myself, especially since the majority of my friends don't live nearby.

The best part of going solo to a show is being able to just show up 5 minutes before the headliner and leaving during the last song.
I don’t have kids but it saves me from having to get a dog walker for the night and also get to bed at a reasonable time.

make friends at the shows. I technically go alone to most shows I buy tickets to but I've made enough friends over the years talking in line and in between sets with people that I almost always have someone to hang out with

I applaud this level of extraversion. But it's not that easy for everybody. Haha.

More Minus The Bear dates dropping next week. Extra shows in NY, DC and a new date in New Orleans

I go to most shows solo and kind of have a rule of who I’m willing to go with, which I realize sounds kinda snobby. I won’t burden my wife with taking her unless it’s an act she’s super into. Otherwise, unless the person I’m going with is also super into the band and/or understands concert etiquette, I’m flying solo. Just don’t want to deal with people who just we leave early, stand in the back, try to have constant chit chat throughout, etc.

Dave from Mae confirmed an Everglow anniversary tour this fall with The Spill Canvas along with several variants of vinyl repressings (including a tour variant) and their new album “The Human Heart” out this summer.

Nothing I loathe more than going to a show with someone who tries to give me a long life update DURING the set.

Sorry to jump in on this so late, just wondering what you mean by 'outed'? I absolutely believe you, just wondering if there's some proof that I missed.

DC show sold out pretty quick, was surprised. 9:30 usually announces second nights quickly, but makes sense to time it with the rest of the new tour dates

They added a couple of rows of "normal priced" seats, likely just reconfiguring platinum listings to "standard"

This ticket focused account (+ others) ran with the conspiracy even though their screenshot shows literally 3 rows (of 4 seats each)

There wasn't huge amounts blacked out, just some platinum reclassified.

Good of him to realize this when he’s 80 and probably has one or two more tours in him.

I've noticed a lot of GA tickets that are sold as VIP options end up just reverting back to standard if the VIP packages don't sell. Good tip for last minute deals.
