Damn at this point I’d pay $1000 to see OutKast in Atlanta

Here’s a first: silicone end of my loop earplug got stuck in my ear canal at armor for sleep. HOB didn’t have medical on site, thought that was unusual and out of the ordinary (I know I’ve seen them before). Luckily after 15 minutes I finally got a grip on a piece and popped it out. Panicked a bit since I’m far from home and getting on a plane to Boston to see treos tomorrow

I think the most I ever paid to see a band at their own headline shows is Linkin Park at Wembley Stadium which cost £106 and Slayer at Finsbury park with a 5 band supporting line up which cost £107.. both concerts that I am going to this summer!!

Oasis in September will also be the most I’ve ever spent on a concert. Several hundred dollars more than Metallica’s two night lower bowl MetLife ticket like two years ago.

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

$330 for Eras Tour (2023, Detroit, 100 level), $256 for Eras Tour (2023, Nashville, 200 level), $200 for Eras Tour (2024, Hamburg, floor).

    *cough*

$175 for rep tour (2018, Atlanta, 100 level) and $175 for Renaissance tour (2023, Atlanta, last row in the stadium because a friend panicked with dynamic pricing). $110 for Mumford in Sons (2019, Nashville, second row of a hockey arena). $105 for Zach Bryan (2024, 200 level in a basketball arena).

Those seven are my only non-festival three digit tickets.

Related: Saw Beyonce on Formation in 2016 for $75, saw On The Run II in 2018 for $65. Beyonce is a worthy performer and incredible artist, but I've definitely soured on her pricing schemes over the years; though, like Taylor, she's performing 2.5-3 hours so it's not like she skimps.

Same. That show was sweet. Sitting on stage on the side of both of them. Wow. Lol

    U2 at Sphere - $350
    Madonna (2024) - $125
    Beyoncé (2023) - $145
    Lady Gaga (2022) - $125
    Oasis (2025) - $300 (secondary market)

Think those might be my only $100+ non-festival tickets.

Is the sphere worth the price? Dead & Co are at the sphere the night I’m in Vegas but tickets are $200 minimum

music, single show that i didnt pay for - my parents in law took my wife and i to see the doobie brothers with michael mcdonald (my wifes favorite) and those tickets were definitely like ~200 each because we were real close

music, single show i did pay for - deftones just yesterday, muse a few years ago around, mariah carey, about 115-120 each.... also a the rage/rtj show i paid 140 for but got refunded after 3 postponements, but probably doesnt count, haha

non music event - Royal Rumble 2022, about $330 (X3) and Boston celtics vs LA Lakers NBA finals game 3 ticket in 2010, probably 250ish

edit becuase i forgot the time i did a weezer VIP meet and greet, (tour with panic and andrew mcmahon) where i got to meet them early in the day, but then the show got rained out so i still had to pay for the vip portion, but the concert portion was refunded, would have been 150 all in, but got some of it back

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

I'm impressed you guys have so much disposable income for entertainment nowadays, but then I realize I made the choice not to have that when I had two kids.

Lady Gaga / Beycone (separate)- Close to $200 each time
    The Smile - $120ish
Sleep Token Red Rocks - $150

Festival - when we were young vip for like $800, but honestly that was worth it to me as it's probably my last time going and I went out with a bang.

Most shows I go to though the ticket also needs an uber and then drinks. It's really an expensive hobby ha and I've cut back the past few years. Not by a ton but probably 5-10 shows less each year which probably saves me $500-$1k all things considered.

I'm lucky in that I already live in the city so the transportation is cheap ($2.90 subway ride) and then if I choose not to drink alcohol, no other additional fees.

With how things are going we might as well spend our $$$ on overpriced tickets

We got any frequent solo show goers here? I'm one of those people, helps cut down on costs as well.
