The movie tanked but it was a critical success and even got an Oscar nomination.
Maybe once it hits streaming it’ll gain some traction and lay the foundation for a Robbie and/or Take That US tour

The movie was good and I won’t let people forget it

Robbie is really his own thing compared to Take That, if he’s doing anything American it’ll be on his own.

I think Take That is a trio at this point, quite a bit removed from their 2000s comeback + Robbie reunion in the 2010s.

Better Man is currently the number 2 streaming film on Paramount Plus! Anyways I think a short Take That US and Canada tour would do really well, Irish group Westlife toured the states and Canada for the first time ever last year and that tour was sold out straight away and the shows themselves were very received by u.s and Canadian fans as well so they have momentum on their side! I think Take That could do the same!

John // OC now, OH forever.

Yeah, but probably because unless you really followed it, it was just a CGI monkey singer in the trailer.

Has Robbie Williams every properly toured North America? Last known tour date I could find in NYC was when he did Hammerstein Ballroom in 1999.

Yeah the last time he toured properly in the states was in 1999 but he stopped doing anything in the states because at the height of his fame his drug use and mental health was at a serious low point and he has admitted it in interviews openly that if he made an effort and got big in America during that period that he probably wouldn't be alive by now so he decided to just move to the states just live there and thats it because it's the only country that he can live an normal life because no one knows who he is.

But he did do a Vegas residency in 2019 and it was sold out then added more in 2020 but then 2020 in general became a complete write off for obvious reasons.

Cool he can live here and be virtually unrecognized. I imagine the Vegas shows were mostly Brits flying in.

One of my friends and her husband went to Vegas on their honeymoon and they attended one of the Robbie Williams residency shows and while they said he was amazing.. most of the crowd was Brits flying in or Brits who live in the states that attended the show but there was some American fans that they met at the gig and they were excited to finally seeing him live in America after years of flying over to the UK to see him at his stadium shows!

idk, this was my least favorite beyonce record and when I saw the prices I decided to bail. the renaissance tour was incredible, and only a couple years ago. people just don’t have money to pay $300-400 to sit in the upper deck of a football stadium, the value isn’t there.

Yeah had she not done her biggest tour of her career 2 years ago, I think there would be way more want for this. Plus that album is so so so mid

This made me pop on to Ticketmaster and see how the New Jersey Beyonce shows were selling.
5 nights, and if you filter out the resale tickets then 4 out of the 5 are basically sold out. But yikes when you include resale tickets half the venue is red. People are selling upper deck seats for $70, which is way lower than what they originally sold for.

Thinking this might be a cheap and easy week of ticket.
