Probably doesn't help that Max in general has oversaturated his own market of touring Max-era Sepultura. Between him with Igor now, Cavalera Conspiracy, and Soulfly, they've all toured Sepultura material a ton over the last 10 or so years.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

The thing that kind of fascinates me too is, wasn’t grunge pretty successful in the UK also? I thought most of the Seattle bands found success there. Wonder what it was about Bush that didn’t catch on

Honestly I don't know but I know the British press at the time were ruthless towards Bush for no reason and britpop was starting to make waves but I didn't blame Bush for just solely concentrate on making it big in the states which they did. Last time they did a headline tour over here was in 2017 so its been long overdue for them to comeback and tour on hometurf.

Looks like Sleep Token is playing Minneapolis @ Target Center-- I saw their Veridian/Feather logos on a electronic billboard outside Target Center earlier today.

    idk man

Felt that. I still remember seeing them as the first opener at the Gramercy Theater (about 500 cap) in 2019. Glad they are the ones who are gaining traction

Urgh, Brooklyn. I knew they were gonna pick Barclays Center over MSG or Forest Hills.
Barclays has such terrible sound quality, and the upper deck is so damn steep.

I remember a lot of the Issues guys saying around the time that tour was announced that Sleep Token was going to be huge, and yeah they called it.

Like their music or not, the theatrics of their stage show are suited for that environment. I'm lukewarm on them but can't wait to see them live again due to how much I enjoyed the last show.

I didnt know who they were a the time. I got free tickets and wanted to see Polyphia and Issues, but after their set I was blown away and thought to myself "Screw Issues, I want to see those guys again".

Im mad I wont see them on a small stage again, but exctied to see their full production on an arena.

End cruise lineup is pretty solid, although mostly retreading the same bands at this point. Would consider going again (was on the 1st one) but need to find out if I got into grad school or not

Belated but I think at the height of Britpop, the Brits thought they were above an American grunge re-hash thus why Bush never got much traction there. I remember reading in SPIN that the British press was completely flabbergasted that Sixteen Stone well outsold (What's The Story) Morning Glory in the US.

Gary Barlow the singer out of the UK band Take That did a surprise set in Nashville yesterday, now I think he's over there doing writing and recording sessions for his own solo record but still this was his first ever show in the states.. now between this and the Take That Song Greatest Day being played a ton in the movie Anora and they do have a fan base in the states and Canada that they have had fans from both countries traveled over to the UK to see them live before

I wonder if Take That will finally do some headline shows in the states and Canada at some point, maybe later in the year or next year? I mean Westlife did a short US and Canada tour last year on st Patrick's Day week playing in theatres like Radio City Music Hall and tickets were sold out straight away!! I could see Take That do a similar run of dates.

Didn’t that Robbie Williams movie tank hard? It would probably be a better call to do a tour if that movie was a hit.
